Hello everyone and welcome to our brand new Big Red Blog
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Caryl and I started working here at Red Candy about a month ago.
Before I came here I’d worked in all manner of different office and customer service jobs, but all the while I was just itching to get into something a bit more creative. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a beret-wearing arty type at heart, especially since finishing my degree in music which focussed on making weird and wonderful experimental compositions. Now I just love to go on and on about art, design, media, invention and innovation to anyone who will listen!
That’s why I was so excited when I heard I would be contributing to Red Candy’s blog. I finally had a place to share my creative side, but this time it was as part of my day job. Hooray!
So, now I’ve found my voice alongside the other contributors in our Big Red Blog, what will we be talking about?
We’d like to use this space to spotlight some brilliant designers, review brand new products, get the scoop on what’s hot in the world of interior design, and maybe even feature a selection of our favourite items from our shop.

But we don’t just want to tell you what we think; we want to hear from you! Tell us all about your treasured red items. Why not send in pictures of them in pride of place in your home? Show us how you have chosen to use red in your space. You may just have thought of something no one else has. Let’s share our creativity.
In the coming weeks we’ll be announcing competitions and giveaways that we’d love you to get involved with. Watch this space for more information.
